Dr. Lisa Troutman has worked at Brookeville Animal Hospital since 2000. She also works at the US Food and Drug Administration's Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) in new drug approvals for cats, dogs, and horses. She received an undergraduate degree in Animal Science from Cornell University, a Master's degree in Physiology from the University of Dayton, and a DVM degree from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.
Her professional interests include oncology, geriatric feline medicine, and animal behavior. In her spare time, Dr. Troutman enjoys endurance horseback riding alongside her husband Kent, gardening, and birding.
